Upcoming Club Tournament: 17 May, the May Madness. What is mad about it? The entry fee for everyone is $10 PLUS every player has to bring a wrapped mystery prize for the others to choose. Everyone will go home with a prize! AGA membership is required, and may be obtained on-site when registering. This tournament will be at our usual location, GMU-Arlington. Play will be four rounds in one day, handicap, 45 minutes/player plus 20 moves/5 minutes byo yomi.
IMPORTANT NEWS! Our new location is the Arlington Temple, United Methodist Church, 1835 Nash Street, in Roslyn, VA. We have a fairly large room, and have stored our equipment there.
So, there no longer is a need for you to bring sets to the club.
The Temple is a short distance from the Roslyn Metro station. Parking is on the street, and the meters stop at 6 pm. It is across the street from Gold's Gym, and above a gas station. The entrance is on Nash, slightly up the hill from the gas station. Go up the staircase to the main church level; take a left and go up a few more steps, and you will be facing a door with a peephole. It will be locked. You must call me at 571-278-2136, to get in!
Note that tournaments will continue as scheduled at the old location at GMU-Arlington... and that the NOVA-Fairfax club will continue to meet as usual...
Our tournaments are one day, four rounds, handicap, open to all American Go Association members. Registration begins at 9 am, and play usually finishes by 6:30 pm.

(2) at GMU - Fairfax, 4400 University Drive, Student Union I, Lobby, (weekly on Thursdays, 4:30-7:30 pm)
